Our mission is simple: expand your awareness of world events. There is a lot going on every day across the globe — protests on civil liberties, key elections, natural disasters, tech innovations, scientific triumphs, meetings between world leaders, humanitarian efforts, military actions, virus outbreaks — and it is tough to keep up with it all. It’s also challenging to get a strong grasp on what’s really going and why. Why does Russia care about Syria? What is the US involvement in the Syrian conflict? In fact, where is Syria? We believe that by adding more context to the news you already read (and love), you can get a quick-deep-dive without making dozens of Google and Wikipedia searches, and scrolling through endless amounts text.
- What you should expect from Worldsy:
- A wide number of perspectives for news events
- Faster consumption and understanding of important events
- More context to news events
- Easy access to historical news articles
- Make it all easy (and fun) to use!
To be clear, we do not directly generate any content. We simply collect publicly available content from the many awesome sources out there, and bring them together, aka a news aggregator. We respect the difficult work of journalists and reporters, and support their mission to inform the world, and want to shed more light on their work!
So, that’s our grand mission. However, here, in our humble beginning, we have built a cool news aggregator with some basic features to get things going. We will continue to build and refine as we move ahead, and would love your feedback along the way. Please hit us up anytime at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you for visiting us — see you soon!
